2024 Eye drop rapelling event
This year we volunteered our time to support Vision Corps in Downtown Lancaster at their annual Eye Drop event, along with Over the Edge. This year they had over 100 rapellers going down the Holiday Inn to raise money and awareness for those individuals who are visually impaired . Next year we plan to raise money and support the cause and volunteer our time again to such a great event.

We are so excited to be able to say that we are officially a Zeiss Certified office! Zeiss is a one of the oldest lens manufactures in the country; where technology and quality meet! For those who are in a Zeiss lens there is no alternative so please stop by our office to purchase your Zeiss lenses.
Opticians Association of Pennsylvania
April who is part of the Opticians Association of Pennsylvania had the great opportunity of being part of the Congress held this past weekend at the Imperial in Downtown Lancaster. April is responsible for the education part of the Congress and made great connections with exceptional speakers, magnificent vendors and extremely talented opticians. They had a nice turn out of people who were able to use this opportunity to receive credits towards their certifications, a silent auction with fun items such as sunglasses, jewelry, vouchers and more and of course a great meal provided by the wonderful people at the Imperial Restaurant. Please consider joining the OAP if you are an optician. You will have an amazing group of friends and a community you can depend on.
NEW Transition Lenses
We are so excited to say that Safety Eyez is offer the NEW Transition Lenses. With the new transition GenS they released a new ruby lens color along with the other 7 existing colors. Transition lenses are great for people who are sensitive to light, the GenS lenses change faster than the previous lenses and from light to dark, and from dark to light and even offer a slight tint on hazy days to help further protect your eyes. Come see one of our Transition Certified Specialist to see what color you prefer

With the new year, comes new goals and resolutions. Make sure that your vision is on that list. Getting your annual or bi-annual exam is very important, and having the right pair of glasses is the cherry on top. Please grab your prescription after your visit and come right over to see one of the girls at Safety Eyez for that new pair of glasses. Christmas On Main 2023
Safety Eyez, LLC is excited to be part of Christmas on Main this year, We are partnering up with Pjs Steaks and Hoagies (our neighbor) to create a beautiful outdoor display. We will also be offering a hot cocoa bar inside our office. This event will take place on Saturday 11/24 from 8am-7. We will be at the office from 4-6 giving hot cocoa and some vouchers for those who come visit us. We will be open to the public from 12-6.
Life through Lenses
We are so excited to offer this amazing program to those who can benefit from it. Essilor Vision Foundation provides frame and lens options for qualified patients who are at or below poverty level with no insurance. This is a great way to give back and help those who other wise will not seek getting glasses. Participants must register through https://changinglifethroughlenses.org
Therapeutic Tints
Safety Eyez, LLC has therapeutic tints available. Here is a look at the tint options. We have tints for medical purpose such as migraines, age related macular degeneration or sports injury. We also offer tints for fishing, hunting, skiing etc. Come in and see April or Sonia to see what tint will best fit you for your hobbies
VSP/Salvation Army
Safety Eyez, LLC had a great time volunteering at the VSP Vision Eyes of Hope event at the Salvation Army in Harrisburg on Friday September 29, 2023. With the help of other volunteers and amazing doctors from The Pennsylvania Optometric Association, they were able to provide over 150 exams and glasses to those who needed it. What a great way to give back to the community!
